The wise woman in the storm
prays to the Goddess,
not for safety from danger,
but for deliverance from fear.
It is the storm within that endangers her,
not the storm without. – R. W. Emerson (1803-1882) –
The wind of grace is incessantly blowing.
Lazy sailors on the sea of life
do not take advantage of it.
But the active and the strong always
keep the sails of their mind unfurled
to catch the favorable wind and
thus reach their destination very soon. – Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948)
To the mind that is still,
the whole universe surrenders. – Lao Tzu (c604-c.531bce) –
